HARDI obtained two prizes in the “Outstanding Novelties Contest” at the FIMA ’05 exhibition in Zaragoza, Spain. Here is what the jury said:
New COMMANDER trailed sprayer
It stands out for the fact that it incorporates a dynamic control stability system (SafeTrack) with a small turning radius and a suction filter with an automatic shut off valve that prevents spillage of liquids during cleaning. The filter is fitted with a dirt trap to collect large particles, thus lengthening maintenance periods.
The SafeTrack system is computer-controlled to turn in accordance with the travel speed, level of liquid in the tank and height of spray boom, ensuring stability even with a reduced turning radius. During transport the SafeTrack system is automatically blocked in the central position.
Polyethylene axial kit for MERCURY mistblowers.
It stands out for the use of polyethylene for both the fan housing and the cone. The fan, with adjustable synthetic blades, is lighter and produces a greater air volume with a significant reduction in the noise level.
It includes a two-speed gear box with a transmission capacity of 50 kW. The gear box is vertically attached to the chassis and includes a lever-locking feature. The materials used reduce the risk of corrosion, increase the mechanical strength of the air kit and eliminate sharp edges.
