The Czech farm TROUBECKÁ HOSPODÁŘSKÁ a.s. in TRUOUBKY employs 60 persons. Recently the farm invested in a new HARDI trailer – a NAVIGATOR 4000 with a 30 metre EAGLE boom.

Farm facts:

8,500 ha are sprayed annually with the NAVIGATOR, which is on its first season.

The farm TROUBECKÁ HOSPODÁŘSKÁ a.s. in TRUOUBKY grows:

  • Arable soil 1,760 ha in total
  • 800 ha wheat
  • 500 ha spring barley
  • 130 ha lucerne
  • 130 ha corn

The average water spray volume is 200 l/ha per ha and about 5 million CZK (EUR 150,000) spent annually on pesticides.

Product facts:

- From 1991 to 2008, the spray job was done with a HARDI TA 2400 trailer with a 18 m TWIN boom. This sprayer continues as reserve capacity at the farm after a major overhaul from the HARDI importer in CZ – UNIMARCO.

- “For economic reasons we bought a HARDI NAVIGATOR based on excellent experiences with the old HARDI TA. The investment in a new, larger sprayer took place for two reasons: Bigger main tank and larger boom - which reduces the number of tramlines in cereals and less unproductive time.”

The agronomist Mr. Kratochvil (to the right at the photo) is absolutely satisfied with the machine and its job. The AutoSectionControl, which is a GPS based boom section shut on/off function, is especially appreciated:

“The saving in chemicals due to prevention of overlap becomes more and more important as cost of chemicals raises.”
