SARITOR 5000 – high capacity and performance
Designed and built by Your Sprayer Specialist
In Roman mythology, SARITOR is the god of hoeing and clearing weeds in the fields, but SARITOR is also the name of HARDI’s new product offer for the large farms looking for a state-of-art self-propelled sprayer. This brand new product is aimed at the broad acre markets in Australia, North America and the CIS area.
The SARITOR 5000 features very high spray speeds and a transport speed up to 50 km/h
High demands from the farmers
Spraying sometimes around the clock, 24 hours a day, means heavy duty design from the very beginning in the construction phase of a product like the SARITOR.
Farmers from broad acre markets have been interviewed, and concepts have been tested. The overall feedback was in brief the following: Performance from 800 to 1000 ha sprayed per day, high working speeds in tough hilly terrain, high road speeds up 50 km/h to reduce downtime, adjustable track width from 3 to 4 m, heavy duty components all through to get superiour reliability, integrated electronic platform and a state-of-the-art comfort level providing the spray pilot a machine performance to the absolute maximum.
Heavy duty chassis, transmission and suspension.
Made in high tensile steel, the chassis of the SARITOR is built by using a riveted technology coming from building equipment machineries which gives strong resistance and long reliability. Motorised by 6.7 l Cummins engine 275 HP, this new HARDI self-propelled adopts a SAUER-Danfoss electronic transmission. This combination of large engine power and fast wheel motors allows high performance in the field as well as on the road.
With 1.37 m clearance, auto-levelling pneumatic suspension system and hydraulic adjustable track width from 3 to 4 m, SARITOR is really designed for large farms with intensive use of machinery. Comfort and space
The full control of the vehicle and the application is optimised by the brand new HC 9500 12.1’’ touch screen ISOBUS controller.
Integrated electronics ease operation
All functions are fully controlled from the cab and underline the level of optimization the pilot can gain by use of this machine.
HARDI is using a brand new electronic platform, HC 9500, which is 100 % ISOBUS and operated via a large colour 12.1’’ touch screen. All spraying and hydraulic functions are controlled by this new ISOBUS Terminal, even AutoSectionControl and AutoHeight features. HC 9500 will also be able to manage the integral GPS Automatic steering system.
New TERRA FORCE boom concept
SARITOR is equipped with the brand new robust high tensileeSteel TERRA FORCE boom from 36 to 42 m.
Performance on both flat and hilly terrain
The boom centre is the one single element with biggest impact on boom performance. TERRA FORCE is offered with two different set-ups for the boom centre: DynamicCentre or AutoTerrain.
The DynamicCentre makes it possible to change the characteristics at the centre part, so the performance is optimal regardless of terrain and driving speed. The setting is easily changed on the go from the cabin. The Dynamic Centre tilt-suspension can be chosen as an option.
AutoTerrain helps the sprayer pilot
The AutoTerrain is a fully automatic boom control. Based on ultrasonic sensors, the system is constantly monitoring the boom position and makes the needed correction. AutoTerrain distin-guishes from others by measuring on forces added to the boom and making a pro-active correction before the boom is affected by the force in practice, meaning that the system prevents unintended movements instead of correcting them.
AutoTerrain is equipped with negative tilt as standard. Both versions of the centre part are as standard equipped with hydro- pneumatic anti-yaw and hydro-pneumatic ParaLift suspension.
High capacity fluid system
The SARITOR sprayer has a HARDI fluid system and an ACE centrifugal pump with a capacity of 650 l/min. The rinsing tank is 500 l, and filling is done by the efficient TurboFiller, if the farmer does not choose a fast filling direct from a pre-mixed nurse tank station.
Global self-propelled strategy
The SARITOR is designed globally with interaction between the R&D departments in HARDI Australia, North America and the HARDI-EVRARD French self-propelled competence centre in the Beaurainville factory located in the Pas de Calais region in the North of France.
This new international development is the strategy of the HARDI Group to become a main player not only at the high-input farming areas in Europe and CIS, but also on the Self-propelled broad acre market in Australia, North America and CIS/Russia.
